Despite the weather being fine and dry on match day the Formby pitch was unplayable after a number of days of rain and the match was called off mid-afternoon.

Mawdesley B were able to play their match and their win against New Victoria puts them top on 15 points with one match left to play, at home against Formby on the 12th of July.

Formby have 9 points after 2 away wins and 3 abandoned home games and have 2 away games left to play, Mawdesley B and Charnock Richard on the 19th of July.

Formby must win their remaining matches to equal Mawdesley B and possibly force a play-off.

Charnock Richard are also still in with a chance. With one result to come they are on 8 points from 5 games with two wins and two abandonments. If they won the missing match they are on 11 points with two matches to play and could still catch Mawdesley B.

It should be an exciting couple of weeks if the matches can be played.
