A highly-rated talent from the Victorian pathway system, Dylan arrives at Cricket Path with a reputation as a "three-dimensional" cricketer. A crafty left-arm orthodox spinner and a composed middle-order batsman, he is expected to be a vital cog in the 1st XI as we push for silverware in the ECB Premier League.
Dylan joins us from Ringwood Cricket Club in the prestigious Kookaburra Victorian Premier Cricket competition. His rise through the ranks has been marked by consistent performances at the highest youth levels, most notably representing the Victoria Metro Under-19s.
His ability to control the game with the ball and anchor an innings with the bat has seen him earn high praise from coaches at Cricket Victoria. Known for his tactical maturity, Dylan is frequently described by senior figures in Melbourne as a "clutch" performer who thrives under pressure—qualities that will be invaluable in the competitive landscape of the Liverpool Competition.
The signing represents a family move, as Dylan will be travelling to the UK with his girlfriend, a high-level netball player. We are thrilled to welcome them both to the Formby community and look forward to seeing them settle into life in our seaside town.
Beyond his duties on a Saturday afternoon, Dylan will take on a lead role in coaching our junior section. His experience within the elite Australian pathway system will provide our U11’s,U13s & U15s with a unique opportunity to learn from a player who has recently navigated the transition to senior representative cricket.
1st XI Captain Ian Cockbain added:
“Dylan comes highly recommended. He bats, bowls, and is a great fielder, so he’s exactly what you look for from your overseas. He will be working a lot with our juniors as well, which will be brilliant for them. I’m looking forward to meeting Dylan and his girlfriend in April.”
