Starting at 6pm on Friday 24 April, the session is designed to be suitable for all levels whether children are picking up a bat for the first time or already part of the junior setup. It’s a great way for them to play and learn cricket with activities built around the basics of batting, bowling and fielding.

Alongside the cricket, it’s a great social event for all the family! Food and drinks are available to enjoy in the sun!

This week also marks the introduction of a new reusable cup scheme at the club. For £2, members and visitors can buy a cup to use throughout the season, part of a broader push to reduce single-use waste around the ground.

The return of kids’ cricket is always an exciting event in the club calendar. Sessions like this often serve as the entry point for new players, and a way for existing juniors to reconnect with teammates after the off-season. With longer evenings and better weather arriving, the expectation is that attendance will be high and everyone will enjoy Friday evenings down at the Cricket Path!!
